The issue:

Sizing involves applying a protective adhesive layer to yarn surfaces. In this process, the yarns develop electrostatic charges which can pose risks to operators and cause problems like adhesion to surrounding surfaces, dust contamination, yarn misalignment, uneven coating, and improper winding.

The remedy:

Position the Valstat static charge eliminators, as depicted below. These bars work by creating a balanced flow of positive and negative ions, directed towards the charged surface. The yarns are thus neutralised, ensuring precise winding, improved quality and optimum productivity.
